Make sure your PocketPC is connected to your PC. Activesync should report 'Connected'.
Double click on 'Griff_Setup.exe'. You will see the Welcome screen.
Click on the 'Next >' button and read the Readme.
Click on the 'Next >' button and read the End User License Agreement.
Click on the 'Next >' button.
If you have purchased Griff you should have received an email with your Registration Code, enter it here along with your email address. Both are case sensitive. It is easiest to cut and paste from the email.
If you do not have a Registration Code leave these fields blank. Griff will still function but saving will be disabled.
Click on the 'Next >' button and you are ready to install Griff.
Click on the 'Next>' button and the setup program should extract the relevant files to your Activesync directory.
Activesync should then bring up the 'Add/Remove Programs' Dialog box and ask you where you want to install Griff. Select 'Yes' to install to the default application install directory (/Program Files/Griff) or 'No' if you wish to install to External media such as a Compact Flash card.
Activesync will now copy the required files to your PocketPC.
Once complete, check the screen of your PocketPC.
Tap on the 'Start Menu' button and select 'Programs'.
Tap on the Griff Icon.
Griff will start up and display some help.
It is recommended that you run through the 'quick step tutorial' to familiarize yourself with some of the features of Griff.
